Minmed Telehealth

Minmed Telehealth is one of Saigon Technology's most prominent initiatives in the healthcare area. This project is aimed towards users above the age of 19, with a primary emphasis on healthcare. The client emphasizes convenience, leanness, and accuracy in both the interface and real operability of the software application.

The software product - Minmed Connect, covers a variety of additional demands to enhance health, such as monitoring indicators for fitness, nutrition, and GP clinics. In order to better serve each user individually, the client side also wishes to split the purpose into two user segments: corporate clients and individuals.

What the Client Required

In general, the client required the solution to be able to handle the following components in order to satisfy corporate users:

- Cooking Demonstrations
For Individuals, the client wants the following solutions:

- TeleMedicine Doctor Videoconsult
- Virtual Fitness Classes
- Virtual Nutrition and Cooking Classes

Challenges

Need to trickly follow PDPA.
Import a lot of data from existing systems (over 6 millions records).
Meet new updates and requirements during development time.
Network Quality during stream period.
Need to cast the stream section into smart TV.
All databases, VPS, S3 storage must have a high security config.
Allow send media, chat, switch camera, play predefined audio list during livestream and video call.
All sensitive data must be encrypted and allowed to be searched in application.

Solutions

All team members must take the PDPA online course and pass the exam before joining the projects.
Improve import methodology and upgrade AWS RDS system to optimize performance.
Apply scrum working model, frequently demo after each sprint and plan new features for next sprint.
The client has another team to handle VAPT.
Encrypted all sensitive data, backup weekly, only white list IPs can access to the database, remote to EC2 instances. All imported data, PDF files must be deleted after import.
Use Agora service to livestream and push stream to CDN service (wowza) to get m3u8 then cast to chrome cast.
Using aes_encrypt, aes_decrypt of MySQL to support search encrypted data.

Reporting

Internal daily meetings have been established between the Saigon Technology team and the Client in order to facilitate the deployment of daily work reports beginning with the project's inception.
Every two weeks, the client side and the Saigon Technology team got together for a review to show off the results and obtain some comments.
